Description
Everyone at TPR plays an important role in helping to keep more than £2 trillion of savings safe, with more than half of the UK working population relying on us to regulate their retirement savings. This is an exciting time to join The Pensions Regulator (TPR). Our new corporate strategy outlines a bold and challenging vision of how pensions regulation should evolve to keep pace with a change in the scale and nature of the industry. We are at the start of that journey. As we transform, our corporate functions are at the heart of what we do. They ensure we remain a cohesive organisation that stewards our resources efficiently and effectively to enable delivery and provide assurance over the work we do.
Our Director of Risk, Compliance and Assurance is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and operation of TPR’s risk management and assurance frameworks. This role ensures that TPR has the appropriate assurances and controls frameworks to effectively support the compliant, legal, and efficient operation of TPR. The role holder will be an advocate for effective, proportionate frameworks and align and develop these frameworks to enable the organisation to respond with agility to changing conditions and emerging risks.
A collaborative and inclusive leader, you will bring a track record of leading risk and assurance functions in comparably complex, highly regulated environments. You will be adept at embedding cultures that embrace the value of risk and assurance and comfortable engaging at the most complex levels of significant organisations. With strong strategic capabilities, you will engage effectively at all levels of the organisation, ensuring that collaboration and influence are at the heart of the way you work. We need inspirational leaders who can demonstrate experience of taking people with them on a journey of transformational change. Culture is as important as capability, and you will demonstrate a values set in line with those we have developed at TPR.
Everyone at TPR plays an important role in helping to keep more than £2trn of savings safe. We are committed to bringing people into TPR who are ready to make a difference and put UK savers at the heart of what we do.
